ROWATER Australia specialises in skid-mounted, containerised and portable desalination plants in a range of sizes from 1,500 to 1,500,000 litres per day. Units are delivered fully assembled, factory tested and ready to connect to services.
The advanced Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane technology used in ROWATER systems separates dissolved salts and contaminants from source water by forcing water through semi-permeable membranes with physical properties that allows pure water to pass through while rejecting the passage of dissolved salts.
Reverse Osmosis removes up to 98% of dissolved salts and other contaminants from any source water up to sea water. This mechanical process also removes virtually all bacteria, viruses and pyrogens.
Reverse Osmosis is the most economical and efficient process for recovering pure clean water from brackish water and sea water sources.
Our range of desalination units falls into three main areas:
- L SERIES.
- Low Salinity applications up to 5,000 parts per million (ppm) of Total Dissolved Salts (TDS), for high purity water production from tap water and ground water sources.
- B SERIES.
- Brackish Water desalination up to 20,000 ppm TDS, for potable water production from ground and surface water sources.
- S SERIES.
- Sea Water desalination, producing potable water production from highly saline sources including sea water.
ROWATER Australia offers a standard product range as well as custom designed systems; based on your particular application, the nature of your feed water, the production rate and the water purity you require.
Our design and manufacturing incorporates the highest quality components available to ensure reliability, durability, high efficiency, and low maintenance - giving your unit long life and trouble free operation.
We also provide a high level of warranty, service and availability of spare parts and consumables.
The range of membrane technologies we offer include:
- Reverse Osmosis
- Nanofiltration
- Ultrafiltration
- Microfiltration
System designs are dependent on a number of factors including a complete analysis of the source water to ensure the system is designed correctly.
Pre-filtration may be necessary to ensure membranes are not fouled and that production of water is maximised, while ensuring that your investment is protected.
System designs often combine several purification technologies to achieve the desired water quality for specific applications and other treatments are available based on application requirements.
A comprehensive range of pre-treatment, cleaning systems, product water storage and distribution options are available to complete the package.
