Reverse Osmosis is by far the most advanced and thorough method of water purification available. Clean pure water is achieved by pressuring water through a fine membrane with pores of 0.001 microns. The process ensures that large molecules such as chlorine and sodium are rejected by the membrane and directed to waste. Reverse osmosis process effectively remove inorganic salts, asbestos, heavier organic molecules, micro-organisms, particulate matter, pesticides, herbicides, total dissolved solids, toxic metals and radioactive elements.
